Press Release: 30th October 2024, London
ICit Business Intelligence, a specialised consultancy and market leader in financial and operational planning, collaborated with Aptia, a trusted provider of pension and employee benefits administration services in the US and UK, to automate and enrich key components of the finance function.
ICit Business Intelligence partnered with Aptia to streamline the planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting across the organisation, giving the finance team real-time access to business-critical data. Aptia selected Workday, Inc. a leading provider of solutions who help organisations manage their people and financials to transform and elevate their infrastructure. The implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning, an enterprise planning platform, provides the finance team with advanced data visualization and AI-driven insights to run multiple scenarios and real-time financial reports. This partnership has enabled Aptia’s finance team to establish data integrity rather than manual processing, to demonstrate clear audit trails and provide real-time data insights into the business to individual P&L owners.
The project has created an easy-to-use, unified planning platform, taking the pressure off spreadsheets and allowing faster access to key financial data and associated analytics. Workday Adaptive Planning streamlines reporting functions and meets strategic goals around profitability analysis and driver-based modeling.
Alex Craft, Head of Workday Adaptive Planning Implementation at Aptia, commented: “Although we knew we were always keen to implement an innovative platform that closely supported our different business divisions and structures, we wanted to work with a Workday partner where we could closely collaborate on the build. ICit Business Intelligence is a strong partner for us in this role and has been both a strategic guide in the process and offered us the flexibility to work in the way that best suits our finance and wider business objectives.”
Mark Bodger, Director at ICit Business Intelligence added: “We’re very excited to welcome Aptia as a new customer. Our single focus on financial planning and management solutions allowed us to address the individual nuances of the Aptia finance team as its business model naturally evolves over time. Our managed services offering means we worked closelyas a team to create streamlined and agile processes where they’re needed most.”
Tim Wakeford, Vice President Product Management Finance at Workday commented: “We are delighted to be the technology partner of choice for Aptia’s transformation. By building a strategic hub for business decisions that enables finance teams to use data more insightfully to anticipate needs and focus resources, we are empowering the office of the CFO to be a valued partner and navigator for the business.”
